The Hire Co. is a Melbourne based wedding and event decor hire company which offers a carefully curated range of modern wedding and event decor available for hire. Serving Melbourne and surrounding areas.

The Hire Co. came about in 2015 when I was looking for some unique pieces to make my engagement party vision come to life. I quickly realised there wasn't a lot available for creatives who wanted to style their own events.

Over the years I have been fortunate enough to work with not only wonderful couples planning their own wedding but many of the most talented wedding planners and stylists as well as a long list of reputable wedding vendors and suppliers.

My background in fashion and textiles consistently involved creating and curating a collection starting with samples. In the early stages of the creative process, there’s ample opportunity to experiment and have fun. The potential is limitless.

The same principle applies to events—consider the various textures of the table setting. Each detail adds a unique layer to the overall ambiance, much like how fabric choices can transform a garment from concept to reality. The tactile experience is just as important as the visual, inviting guests to engage with the setting in a more intimate way. Whether it's the organic texture of a linen napkin or the glowing light of taper candles, these elements come together to tell a story that reflects the occasion's mood and theme.
